How it works
Help someone with their PC, safely.
ComeOnPC lets two people share one screen in a web browser, with voice, chat and a pointer — and, only with permission given each time, keyboard and mouse control. Both people have to agree before anything starts, and either can stop it instantly.
The five steps of a session
Both people open ComeOnPC. Each gets a unique 6-digit security code and picks an address to share: their internet address, a local network address, or their computer name.
Each person types in the other person's code and the address they shared. Nothing connects until both sets of details match.
One person chooses I need help (they share their screen); the other chooses Help someone (they see it and guide).
Only then does the sharer's own browser ask them to pick the screen or window to show. Nothing is shared until they choose.
You talk it through with voice and chat. The helper can point and draw on the picture — and, only if approved each time, use the keyboard and mouse. Either person can end it at any moment.
While you share your screen
- The other person sees the screen or window you chose — nothing else.
- You talk with voice and type in chat.
- You see their pointer and pen marks on your screen so you know what they mean.
- Your browser's own "you are sharing" indicator is always there; stop sharing and the session ends.
While you help someone
- You see their shared screen live.
- You point with an arrow, or switch to a pen and draw to show them exactly where to look.
- You talk with voice and type in chat.
- You can ask to use their keyboard and mouse — they have to say yes first.
Keyboard & mouse control — only when you allow it
Sometimes it is quicker for the person helping to do something for you. ComeOnPC allows that, but only under your control:
Your privacy
Nothing is recorded. Your screen and voice travel straight between the two browsers and are never stored on our servers.
You only need an account to be the one running the session. The person you help installs nothing to be seen, talk, chat or be pointed at — only the small, safe ComeOnPC Helper if they choose to let you use their keyboard and mouse.
You are always in charge. End the session, or stop control, whenever you like. See the privacy policy.
